This program will be held outdoors in Beleura's Palm Garden but will be moved into the Pavilion if the weather is unsuitable.

Enjoy a special event in Beleura’s gardens to mark Valentine’s Day with guest singers from the Melbourne Opera.

Caitlin Weal began her successful opera career with the Queensland Conservatorium and will be taking a lead role in Melbourne opera’s “Marriage of Figaro”.

Caitlin received many performance opportunities during her time at Queensland Conservatorium performing in concerts, opera choruses and lead operatic roles. Caitlin was selected to participate in the Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program and was cast in the role of Kathi in ‘Der Vershworenen’.

Asher Reichman has sung as a soloist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and received a fellowship with Opernfest Prague.

Having a violinist/conductor for a father, Asher trained in violin and jazz guitar. He has toured with the Australian International Opera Company, performing in Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’ and Puccini’s ‘Turandot’.

He has sung as  a soloist in Beethoven 9th Symphony with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and took part in independent recitals of ‘The Juliet Letters’.

Raymond is Head of Music and Chorus Master at Melbourne Opera and is one of Australia’s most highly regarded vocal coaches, accompanists, and opera conductors.

As a vocal coach, he has nurtured many Australian singers who have gone on to become members of the Jette Parker Programme at The Royal Opera House, the Moffatt Oxenbould Young Artist Programme at Opera Australia, ensemble member at the Wiener Staatsoper, as well as becoming finalists and prize winners in many prestigious singing competitions.
