The Angela Davis Quartet plays both original compositions and selected repertoire from the broad genre of jazz-based music-both old and new.

The trio comprises three musicians who are in huge demand across genres.

Each has toured overseas in various groups, and Davis has undertaken post graduate studies in New York, which included mentoring by renowned American jazz saxophonists.

Sam Anning is one of the most sought after and respected double bassists in Australia. His name can be found on many and varied recordings, including those with prestigious Aria awards and nominations; true also of Stephen Magnusson whose uncommon gifts, and originality, has seen him on stage with world famous jazz musicians, and at other times as a sympathetic associate to the great Indigenous artists including Archie Roach.
