Hear a selection of opera arias outdoors in Beleura’s Palm Garden by Melbourne new talented award-winning soloists.

Soprano Samantha Hargreaves recently won the John Fulford Award in the 2022 Herald Sun Aria finals.

Earlier this year, Samantha interpreted art-songs by Peggy Glanville-Hicks from rare manuscripts in a concert with Lyric Opera of Melbourne. She appeared as a guest soloist with Victoria Chorale, Star Chorale, Melbourne Male Welsh Choir, Heidelberg Choral Society, and the Bach Cantata Program at St. John’s, Southgate.

Tenor Matthew Reardon is a Principal artist with Opera Australia. Most recently performing the role of Don Jose in the National Tour of Carmen.

In 2022 Matthew debuted with West Australian Opera. Playing the ‘Master of Ceremonies’ in the “The Duel” and the role of the ‘Impresario’ in Mozart’s Der Schaulspieldirektor. And with just three days to learn the difficult role of ‘Vaudemont’, he appeared as the lead Tenor in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta.

Adam McMillan is a Melbourne-based pianist, performing regularly as a recitalist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist. He has received awards including first prize in the MRC Great Romantics Competition, the Musica Viva Chamber Music Prize and first prize in the Queensland Piano Competition.
