Volunteering at Beleura
Every year Beleura welcomes 5,000 visitors who come on House tours, tour our gardens, listen to our concerts, go to workshops or enjoy our hospitality.
To do all this we rely on over one hundred volunteers who keep Beleura alive behind the scenes and who are active at Beleura in many ways.
Roles at Beleura
Our volunteer roles at Beleura include driving the Beleura bus to collect visitors, helping serve food and drink to visitors with our hospitality team, taking visitors on guided tours of the gardens or House or helping in our Archives with our collection management.
We are looking for potential House and Garden Guides to lead our tours of small groups.
Flexibility
We realise most people have many commitments and competing interests. The roles we offer also change depending on vacancies that come up. You can let us know your availability and interests and we can try and tailor a role that best suits you and best suits us.
Benefits
Our volunteers enjoy a pleasant work environment, social opportunities to meet with other volunteers, visitors and newcomers.
You might enjoy learning new skills, using your existing skills, learning about local history, engaging with a wide variety of people.
We have Volunteer Coordinators who manage rosters and issues and we are well organised.
